The Race to World First for Sepulcher of the First Ones reached a standstill for a couple days, with Halondrus rising as a surprise wall boss — Taking over 350 attempts for the World First kill by Liquid! On the four days it took to kill Halondrus, many memes spawned. Memes mostly covered either Halondrus closely resembling a crab, or the fact that we're likely ending Week 1 of the race with only 7 out of the 11 bosses defeated! Special mention to Ghostcrawler — The former WoW Lead Systems Designer is a marine biologist by formation, and so it can be said that he's an expert at all things crab. Although according to him, Halondrus may not really be a crab. Blizzard President Mike Ybarra has posted another meme once Halondrus was defeated. This meme likely represents how all of us felt after the wall finally went down!
