A new, limited art exhibition from the classic anime Berserk has opened in Ginza, Tokyo. The exhibition is being held as a celebration of 32 years of art by the mangaka, Kentaro Miura. The event's official name is The Great Berserk Exhibition — 32 Years of Kentaro Miura's Art Career — Ginza Edition.
Berserk originally appeared as a manga in 1989, and went on to have two anime series in 1997 and 2016. An anime film series was also released in 2012. The story follows a lone swordsman named Guts and his adventures in a dark fantasy world. Berserk has found success both in Japan and abroad, which is why it has had such a long run. In 2021, the creator and mangaka Kentaro Miura tragically passed away, and the final chapter he wrote was published after his death.
