In a recent episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, a drunk charter guest got a little too wild and fans were concerned about the safety of second stewardess Gabriela Barragan. For the most part, the Below Deck crew is used to rowdy guests and usually make sure that things don’t get too out of hand. However, certain guests can cross lines and act inappropriately at times. On Sailing Yacht season 1, second stew Madison Stalker was manhandled by a charter guest when he picked her up like he was lifting weights. She was visibly uncomfortable and asked him to put her down. Instead of apologizing for his behavior, he simply laughed it off.
Jen Howell from Below Deck season 5 also had to deal with being groped. While serving dinner, a charter guest touched her butt and later invited Jen to her cabin. She told Jen that she wasn’t allowed to leave and that her husband liked her. Jen later said that she had never been propositioned by a married couple before. Chief Stew Kate Chastain, who has quit the yachting industry, had to intervene and make sure Jen wasn’t alone with the charter guest again. Nonetheless, fans were outraged about the lack of accountability from the guests.
