After all, in a game that’s all about teamwork, it would be nice to talk to your teammates.
It was indeed a long wait, but Battlefield 2042 players will finally be able to communicate with their teammates in-game. When the update goes live tomorrow, a VoIP setting can be found under Sound/Voice in the options menu. From there you’ll be able to choose to talk to your party or your squad. And while voice chat is certainly a good addition, it’s only one among several others. Another small feature has been added to the scoreboard so that it now displays after matches. When the update goes live, you’ll be able to thoroughly analyze how bad your match actually went.
