It may seem like kids' stuff, but Batman's awesome LEGO mech is somewhat part of DC's canon continuity. The Dark Knight summoned a kaiju that favors a machine used in The Lego Batman Movie, showing that Batman may actually desire the infamous mech.
The Lego Batman Movie was a spinoff of the hit 2014 film, The Lego Movie. Set in the world of a LEGO playset, the movie reinvented Batman and his entire cast as toys in the larger LEGO world. Like always, Batman keeps his beloved Gotham City safe, and is joined in his mission by Batgirl and Robin. Despite the familiarity, a world built on LEGO allows for some truly innovative twists on Batman's crimefighting, such as his «Master Builder» abilities. By using spare parts around him, Batman could create powerful crimefighting tools such as planes, cars, and even robots.

And it looks like that imaginative spin has made its way to the DC Universe. In the thrilling conclusion to «Bound to Our Wills» a story featured in Batman: Urban Legends #16 by Vita Ayala, Nikola Čižmešija, and Hayden Sherman, Batman, Zatanna, and Constantine fight against powerful interdimensional creatures. As she struggles against their enemies, Zatanna imbues Batman with magic and tells him the only way to defeat their foes is with something “big." Taking Zatanna's words literally, Batman goes big and summons up a monstrous form that slightly resembles a bat kaiju. Not only does it favor a bat, it seems that Batman was inspired by his LEGO counterpart as the being the Dark Knight manifested also has shades of Batman's «Scuttler» mech. It's not a 1:1 translation, but it's a very similar form.
