Bachelorette star and co-host Tayshia Adams explained why she left Click Bait with Bachelor Nation in a statement on the podcast on Thursday. Tayshia, a 31-year-old phlebotomist-turned-influencer, has a long history with the Bachelor franchise, beginning with her appearance on Colton Underwood’s season in 2019. That summer she joined the cast of Bachelor In Paradise season 6, where she met John Paul Jones, also known as JPJ. Their short-lived romance captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation. In 2020, Tayshia replaced Clare Crawley as The Bachelorette when Clare ended her season early to leave with Dale Moss. Tayshia got engaged to Zac Clark on the finale, but, sadly, they broke up in November 2021.
In March 2021, Tayshia was announced as one of the new co-hosts of The Bachelorette, alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe. They co-hosted Katie Thurston and Michelle Young’s seasons and received favorable reviews. In October 2021, Tayshia launched «Amaryllis x Tayshia,» a clothing collection with Amaryllis Apparel. Tayshia also has been one of the co-hosts of both the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation and Bachelor Happy Hour podcasts throughout the last few years, but she left both of those roles in January 2022. Tia Booth was announced as Tayshia's replacement on the Click Bait podcast. There was much speculation about why she parted ways with the podcasts, with some people wondering if it had to do with her breakup with Zac.
