A mini The Bachelor season 26 reunion for Elizabeth Corrigan's birthday has resulted in Genevieve Parisi issuing an apology statement after the women seemingly threw shade at Shanae Ankney. For several weeks, Clayton Echard's contestants consistently warned him about Shanae's lies and bad intentions. Not only did she poke fun at Elizabeth's ADHD diagnosis, she misled Clayton into briefly believing that Genevieve was a paid actress. Though he eventually sent Shanae packing, she's still having a negative impact on the group.
Over the weekend, several favorite faces from The Bachelor season 26, including Genevieve, Mara Agrait and Sierra Jackson, reunited at Doheny Room in West Hollywood to celebrate Elizabeth's 32nd birthday. On her Instagram Story, Genevieve shared a photo of the crew enjoying a special addition to the evening — a bright, glowing sign that said in massive black letters, "F*** Shanae." She captioned it, "The best part about this is we didn't even ask for it. They just knew." Though the gift from Doheny probably seemed hilarious in the moment, Genevieve returned to Instagram the next day to address it.

On the heels of the festivities, Genevieve took to social media to apologize for the sign and to stress that it wasn't her or her friends' doing. She said, "I just want to reiterate that we didn't ask for it and didn't know it was coming to our table. That being said, it was insensitive for me to video it and post it to Instagram. Nobody is perfect and I'm learning as I go." In response, Bachelor Nation was largely in agreement that Genevieve didn't need to feel bad about posting the sign.
