Sk8er Boi is rockin' up on the big screen as Avril Lavigne revealed she's turning one of her iconic breakout songs into a film.
According to ET Canada, the 37-year-old singer spoke on the iHeartRadio podcast She's The Voice about her plans for the 20th anniversary of her greatest pop-punk hit Sk8er Boi — the main idea being adapting the song about a preppy girl who rejects the titular skateboarder into a feature film. The song was the lead single on her 2002 debut album "Let Go."
