It has canceled a total of four games, including Splinter Cell VR and Ghost Recon Frontline, while it also delayed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It seems, according to a new report from Bloomberg, thatAssassin’s Creed Rift has also been internally delayed.
It should be noted that Ubisoft has not publicly commented on Assassin’s Creed Rift at all, so it has never announced a release date. However, it seems that Ubisoft was aiming to get it out in February 2023 before the current fiscal year closes in March, but that is no longer the case.

This delay reportedly came about because Ubisoft’s Bordeaux office is leading the development and asked for more time, as the game is running behind schedule. Notably, it was previously reported that Assassin’s Creed Rift’s development was facing some unspecified challenges, so this internal delay makes sense. It is now reportedly slated to come out in the May-June period, meaning the delay adds 3-4 more months.
