Artisan Acuity Removed from First-Craft Trainer Recipes - Profession Shuffle Nerfed
Blizzard is releasing a hotfix to remove Artisan's Acuity from First-Craft Bonuses of vendor-trained recipes — meaning the Profession Shuffle is officially dead in The War Within.
Crafters looking to take advantage of the First-Craft Bonus to quickly amass Artisan's Acuity in order to get a head-start on high-level Profession Accessories will no longer be able to amass thousands in a short time with these changes. This removes the usefulness of the commonly referred to «Profession Shuffle,» where players would learn a Profession, gain as many First Craft bonuses as quickly as they could, then swap Professions to do it all again.
Thankfully, the Artisan's Acuity isn't simply being removed — instead, it is being folded into a quest reward from an early-expansion Crafting Introduction quest.

- All Artisan’s Acuity has been removed from the first-time crafters’ bonus of trainer-taught recipes in The War Within.
- All Artisan’s Acuity has been removed from gathering journal discovery bonuses.
- An additional 150 Artisan’s Acuity has been added to the one-time reagent bag players receive from the quest “Crafting to Order”.
The last change brings the bag from 200 to 350 Acuity.
