The iPhone 14 hasn't got off to a good start and the reasons are clear – not many changes from the iPhone 13, and a higher starting price. Still, at $799, the iPhone 14 is reasonably priced for many and could be a good upgrade for users of many iPhone 11 and older models. The iPhone 14 Plus is said to have done badly in the pre-orders and with its starting price of $899, many are rather considering going for the iPhone 14 Pro. Shocked by this exorbitant price, many interested buyers shared the screenshot on social media and it quickly became the center of memes. Many even considered the possibility of Apple actually increasing the price owing to rising manufacturing costs.
However, the price was later reverted to the launch spec version and while Apple did not comment on this, it simply seems to be a glitch. And since the price was astronomically high, we doubt anyone would have taken up the deal.
