The upcoming update was initially speculated to revolve around "maintenance", but later reports suggested that iOS 17 will be a major update with major changes expected on the Lock Screen as well as the Control Center.It was previously reported that the company is working on a smart display similar to the Amazon Echo Show or the Google Nest Hub.
