Unfortunately, the past few weeks of content for the game have had some unintended consequences.
Following the launch of the Awakening Collection Event for Apex Legends, a large portion of the community started encountering issues regarding input latency. Specifically, the problem seemed to be impacting those playing on Xbox Series X/S consoles. In fact, the situation became so bad that some were even proposing boycotting the game. Luckily, it seems that the developers have heard these complaints from the community.

Recently, the official Twitter account for Respawn Entertainment sent out a message addressing the problems with input lag players on the newest generation of Xbox consoles have been experiencing. According to the game studio, a patch had been released targeting input lag on Xbox Series X and S. It claimed that this update would improve the gameplay experience for most players. In addition, the tweet thanked fans for their patience through the whole situation.
Since Respawn Entertainment posted this tweet, a number of fans have weighed in. With over 5,400 likes, many were glad to hear that the developers had allegedly fixed the problem and could now experience the game the way it was meant to be played.
