What makes it more annoying is the masking of spam calls with genuine-looking phone numbers, that you can't even guess before taking it. Even sometimes, it is at another level when the call tries to threaten you while imposing a pseudo-emergency need. Though, few people fall for the scam, providing enough amount to the fraudsters. So, if you are done with the nuisance of spam calls, it's time to put a brake on it. Here are the three ways to do it.
Traditional Way! Block it
Old is gold! But as old as this method is, it is the easiest and safest amongst all, as there are mostly a few particular spam call numbers that keep you calling. Android users can block the spam call by going into the recent contacts section of your call logs and then press long on that particular number and tap on the 'Block' option. Similarly, iPhone users can tap on the blue icon in front of the robo or spam call and select the 'Block this caller' option.
Talk to your carrier provider
The majority of major mobile carriers have taken steps to put themselves between you and these annoying robocalls. This has been done by behind-the-scenes network enhancements, such as the SHAKEN or STIR technology, which allows carriers to check when a call is authentic and spam out of the several faked numbers that you're likely receiving from your own local area code. Best will be to talk to your carrier services to solve the issue.
