Animal Crossing: New Horizons should have a sequel based in a feudal era. The most recent installment in the Animal Crossing series for the Nintendo Switch was successful worldwide, and the next game could improve upon that with a new setting. It is then that the player is designated as the Island Representative and assigned daily tasks in Animal Crossing: New Horizonsto try and improve the living conditions on the island.
