Animal Crossing: New Horizons has seen no shortage of incredible and astounding fan creations since the game's release in March of 2020. Many of the game's most creative fans have brought many iconic franchises to life on their islands, ranging from Pokemon Sword and Shield's train stations to re-enacting scenes from their favorite TV shows and movies. Nintendo franchises have seen plenty of iconic locations brought to life within the newest Animal Crossing title and a recent project looks to bring a major location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to the island simulator.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons quickly became one of the hottest titles in the world of gaming following its launch. The timing of New Horizons' release arriving at a time when many governments worldwide were urging people to stay home saw many gamers flock to the newest Animal Crossing as an escape from the ever-present COVID-19 pandemic. New Horizons was a massive success for Nintendo and brought out the creative side in many of its most inventive players with the game's most recent marvel coming as a recreation of Breath of the Wild's iconic Fort Hateno.

The stunning homage to a central location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was created by Reddit user Naydinfar-Crossing. The creation features large castle walls with an archway representing the gates of Fort Hateno and even features small mossy statues to represent the multitude of decayed Guardians strewn about the rundown fort. Many smaller elements of the design from swords stuck into the ground to the tangled roots and shrubbery lend to the accuracy of the incredible creation.
