An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player recently came across Nate vibing on one of their islands. Nintendo's latest installment in the social simulation series has reached massive levels of financial success with over 32 million copies of Animal Crossing sold and has cultivated a devoted player base in the near two years since its launch.
New Horizons is a massive game that has allowed its community to continuously construct new and unique creations long after its debut. One example of just how huge this game actually is can be summarized by the number of villagers in-game, which is over 400. Players can curate which of these anthropomorphic animals stay and keep out those that do not necessarily work for their island. Each one has unique traits to set them apart from the others, however, a particular villager's popularity can fluctuate in the community throughout the year. That said, villager preferences are totally subjective and some Animal Crossing villagers are beloved by certain players more than others.

Reddit user Writing_Bookworm recently showed off an encounter they had with the lazy bear Nate. After showing up on the player's island, it seems he had little else to do for two full days other than dance. The Redditor came to the conclusion that Nate must really be happy on their island since he kept vibing the whole time. A commenter suggested that the lazy bear is actually exercising, stating that even lazy villagers will occasionally engage in physical activity and that Nate specifically has a goal called «sumo wrestler» as well as the hobby «play.»
