Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Xochitl Gomez recently addressed the future of her character, America Chavez, in the MCU. The Sam Raimi film finds its titular superhero teaming up with Chavez, an inter-dimensional teenager with powers that allow her to create portals into different universes. However, she has no control over her abilities, thrusting both herself and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) through various worlds in an attempt to escape Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) who wants Chavez's powers to reunite with her children.
By the end of the film, Chavez finally manages to manipulate her powers properly and defeats Wanda by revealing the villain's true nature to her alternate dimension children. With nowhere else to go, Chavez joins Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong) at Kamar-Taj, the training grounds for the Masters of the Mystic Arts. There, she begins her training as a sorcerer, likely learning to her control her multi-dimensional portal powers.
