The first thing that likely pops into your head when you hear the term subscription service is probably Netflix or Game Pass, but there's one for almost anything nowadays. You can sign up to sporadically receive beers, chocolate, even cheese. T-shirt subscription services are also pretty popular. You pay someone a fixed monthly fee, and in return, they send you a mystery t-shirt featuring a design from a series or franchise you're presumably pretty fond of.
The latest franchise to get in on the t-shirt subscription game is Pokemon. The Pokemon Company has teamed up with Amazon to launch a mystery subscription service. Subscribers will get an unspecified Pokemon t-shirt once a month for a fee of $19.99. You won't know who or what Pokemon will be on the t-shirt until it arrives in the mail, and there are no clues on the Amazon page hinting at what the designs might look like.

In fact, the only t-shirt you can see on the page is a plain blue one with the Pokemon logo on it. There's every chance that's the first shirt Amazon sends out, though that seems a little boring to kick things off. Odds are that shirt has simply been placed there to keep the mystery intact and make sure no one who signs up to the service knows what they're going to be getting on month one.
The good news is if you don't like any of the shirts you're sent, you can return them and presumably get that month's subscription fee back. They just need to be in new and unused condition.
