Princess Peach might be the one who takes center stage in her action-adventure game but it is really her variety of costumes that deserves the spotlight. Each costume that Peach changes into transforms her into an entirely different character. Whether becoming a swordfighter, ninja, or even a mermaid, Peach loses her normal skills in favor of more thematically appropriate abilities and skills with each outfit.
In order to save the Sparkle Theater and the kidnapped stars (known as Sparklas) of each play,Peach uses the power of Sparkle within the theater to transform with each costume change into the headlining roles for each level. These costumes are not just for show but give her the power she needs to confront Madame Grape and the Sour Bunch to become victorious over their evil magic. She also manages to look gorgeous in these amazing costumes while defeating the mysterious Darkle powers using her own Sparkle.
Figure Skater Peach is one of the more elegant of costumes that Peach can use, with a beautiful light blue glimmering effect and subtle snowflakes that seem to appear around her as she glides across the ice. In this costume, Peach does not use violence to overcome evil, but rather wins by overpowering the evil skater with beauty.
Figure Skater Peach's outfit truly brings out the blue in her eyes, showing that perhaps trading her common pink for a light blue is a good look for her. Her abilities in this outfit are to skate for her movement, spin, and twirl, or jump. Her twirls can coerce skaters to her side, or make enemies dizzy, and many times she must time her jumps and twirls just right in order to complete certain challenges.
Swordfighter Peach looks incredible with a bright blue cavalier hat and matching ensemble while wielding a rapier.
