We're coming up on 15 years of Ahsoka Tano being part of the Star Wars Universe and now for the first time getting her own solo live-action show for Disney+. Rosario Dawson will reprise the role once again in the new series, along with the Star Wars Rebels crew also finally making their live-action debut.
The show will focus on Ahsoka getting the Rebels crew back together for another mission against an old enemy and iconic Star Wars villain, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Mary Elizabeth Winstead takes on the role of Ghost pilot Hera Syndulla, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger join Ahsoka on her journey once again.
Thrawn also makes his live-action debut and is played again by Lars Mikkelsen, also reprising from Rebels. Thrawn was a character from the old Star Wars EU created by author Timothy Zahn. Thrawn was properly canonized along with his henchman, Rukh, voiced by Warwick Davis. Check out the action below.
The late Ray Stevenson made his return to Star Wars as Baylan Skoll after providing the voice of Gar Saxon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Skoll is a former Jedi Knight who survived the Great Jedi Purge and became a mercenary.
It should be noted that in Norse mythology, Sköll is the name of the wolf that chases the sun, while the wolf Hati Hróðvitnisson chases the moon so we get night and day. In the series, Shin Hati is the name of Skoll's apprentice, who has a Padawan-style braid, played by Ivanna Sakhno (Hulu's High Fidelity).
Also making appearances will be Hayden Christensen for at least one episode, with David Tennant voicing Huyang, the Mark IV architect professor droid introduced back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Ahsoka will have a two-episode premiere on
