iQOO 9 series finally has a launch date in India! iQOO’s flagship smartphones for India are coming on February 23, confirms the company is a latest media statement. This year, the company brings three models to take on the likes of iPhone 12, iPhone 11, Xiaomi 11T Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. No prices have been revealed yet but it seems iQOO has it all covered for the high-end smartphone space.
iQOO has already confirmed launching three models this year – there’s a iQOO 9 Pro replacing the iQOO 7 Legend. Then there’s a regular iQOO 9. And then there’s a new iQOO 9 SE, which has so far been a mysterious device for everyone. Note that the iQOO 9 series has already launched in China and India could be a getting a mildly tweaked variant, or even the same one.
The iQOO 9 will be a massive upgrade over the iQOO 7 from last year. Leaks suggest the iQOO 9 will end up with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone relies on the, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, and is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone features a 48MP main camera, a 13MP portrait camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The phone is said to rely on a 4350mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The iQOO 9 Pro could end up featuring a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The iQOO 9 Pro could end up with a 50MP main camera, a 16MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. There could be a 4,700mAh battery powering the phone with support for 120W fast charging.
Lastly, the iQOO 9 SE is said to end up with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. This one is also expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
