Artist Kayobomber brings together fan-favorite Star Wars characters Fennec Shand and Ahsoka Tano in a recent artwork, depicting the pair as friends. Portrayed by Ming-Na Wen, Fennec Shand was introduced in the first season ofThe Mandalorian, before later making appearances in The Bad Batch and The Book of Boba Fett. Ahsoka made her debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 2008 voiced by Ashley Eckstein before Rosario Dawson portrayed the character in live-action.
With Star Wars moving into the format of live-action television, fans were given the opportunity to see more sides of the galaxy that had yet to be explored in live-action. The Mandalorian explored the shady profession of bounty hunting, introducing deadly guns for hire like Shand. The series also allowed fans to revisit familiar faces and see how they were faring in the post-Return of the Jedi era, such as Ahsoka Tano, before she faces her own adventures in her upcoming Ahsoka Star Wars series. Despite both having their respective adventures with Grogu and Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Fennec and Ahsoka have finally united thanks to a new piece of fan art.
