A teaser for a new Lego Harry Potter game has been spotted on Instagram, it’s been claimed.
The image, which was sent to VGC but we won’t post here for copyright reasons, reportedly appeared on the Warner Bros South Africa Instagram page before it was swiftly deleted.
The image, which can be seen below, shows a Lego Minifigure of Harry Potter, with the date ‘8.25.23’. The image also includes a logo for TT Games, the company behind the Lego video games.
If legitimate, this could be the first confirmation of the long-rumored Lego game said to present the Harry Potter universe in the style of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
When asked, a person with knowledge of the project confirmed that it was still in development, but couldn’t confirm if the advertisement was legitimate.
VGC has contacted Warner Bros for comment on the story.
