A Twitter account appears to have revealed most of the lineup for the February 9th 2022 Nintendo Direct days before the show.
User @WaddleDeeKnows’ account was created on February 7 and immediately began tweeting that a “Direct announcement [was] coming tomorrow” and that it was “over 40 minutes long”. The account also tweeted “Direct airing 02/09/22”. All of these Tweets were in advance of Nintendo‘s official announcement about the presentation.
Later in the day, the account tweeted that “Salmon Run is back” and “Wii Sports is back”. Both the Salmon Run mode for Splatoon 3 and a successor to Wii Sport, Nintendo Switch Sports, were announced during the Nintendo Direct.

@WaddleDeeKnows also tweeted that Mario Strikers was to receive a sequel and that “Valve games (are) coming to Switch”. Both of these ended up happening too.
While the account didn’t post absolutely everything shown in the forty-minute show, all the information posted was correct, lending credence to the theory that the account is run by someone with insider knowledge of Nintendo’s plans, or someone in a position to see the Nintendo Direct during the production process.
Another correct revelation by the account was that Earthbound would be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service.
