A new Lego set based on Respawn‘s Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order game may be coming soon, according to leaked listings.
According to German Lego blog Promobricks, Lego set number 75335 is currently listed as BD – 1 in internal listings for upcoming products.
The set is said to contain 1062 parts with one minifigure, which is presumed to be a minifigure-scale model of BD-1, the companion of Cal Kestis, the protagonist of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The set will seemingly retail for $ 99.99 / £99.99 and feature a brick-built statue of Cal’s droid, BD-1 and will release on August 1, 2022.
Interestingly, a Cal Kestis minifigure is not listed as part of the set, which is interesting considering he’s the star of the game, and no other sets featuring the character have been revealed.
Adding validity to the rumour is the fact that Lego recently revealed “Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter” set which will feature a BD droid for the first time, confirming that Lego has produced the mould for the figure.
In January, EA officially announced a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, along with two new projects in development at new teams within the Respawn hierarchy.
Commenting on EA’s relationship with Lucasfilm during its third-quarter earnings call last February, CEO Andrew Wilson said the company would continue to invest in Star Wars games new and old.
Lego is continuing to expand into video game themed sets, with a set based on PlayStation’s Horizon Forbidden West releasing in May.
Another large Nintendo themed set has also recently been spotted online. Said to cost $229.99, the set willallegedly release on October 1, 2022.
