Indeed, the world seems classically Bungie, filled with impossibilities and yet somehow grounded in a potential version of reality. The Destiny franchise has been delivering players with steady content for years, and, while it hasn't always been successful, fans have been able to embark on many journeys with their guardians. Now, rumors are circulating that claim Bungie is working on a Destiny mobile game.
There is relatively little known about the mobile title coming from Bungie. Exploration, multiplayer, diverse combat, and unique weapon rolls are part of Destiny's gameplay, though it is unclear if the potential new game will feature any of these classic characteristics.

According to The Game Post, multiple different job listings, and a partnership between Bungie and Chinese company NetEase, Bungie is developing a mobile Destiny title. The mobile game is reported to be an FPS title, though the specifics are unknown. The mobile IP will not be an extension of Destiny 2 or its predecessor, instead serving as a stand-alone title. Destiny 2's exotic weapons, however, are a very important aspect of gameplay, and it is unknown whether Bungie will implement a similar system in a mobile experience.
The mobile Destiny game has reportedly been in development for more than two years, though it seems that the recent acquisition of Bungie by Playstation has helped move the process along.
