Julia Trubkina is losing her credibility with 90 Day Fiancé fans for promoting fast weight loss products such as slimming teas and gummies on her Instagram. Fans first saw the Russian native on the show in 2020. During the season, it was revealed that Julia worked as a go-go dancer and fitness trainer in Russia. Soon, some of the old pictures surfaced on social media in which she could be seen working out with one of her ex-boyfriends. 90 Day Fiancé viewers liked that Julia prefers to keep fit and stay healthy, but her judgemental views about plastic surgery received major backlash online.
During 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All, Yara Zaya admitted to having a nose job, and Rebecca Parrott showed off her slimmer tummy after undergoing a Sono Bello laser liposuction procedure. When Julia was asked if she had any plastic surgeries done, she criticized the women who opt for such artificial methods to alter their looks. She said that people should join a "gym club" and work hard to achieve their desired appearances instead of being lazy. Since the 90 Day Fiancé star is in great shape, had worked as a fitness trainer and was into bodybuilding, many 90 Day Fiancé fans understood her point of view.
