Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days are sounding off about Ben Rathbun and Mike Berk's «stalker-ish» behavior toward their love interests. Both men have had very bumpy roads trying to secure the affections of the women they are pursuing. Rathbun began what many considered an ill-advised journey to Peru to meet his online girlfriend, Mahogany Roca, in spite of her explicitly telling him not to come, and Berk's relationship with Ximena Morales started tanking after he proposed to her and returned to the United States.
Both Rathbun and Berk have been dogged in their efforts to advance relationships that have been disintegrating over the last several episodes. In Rathbun's case, it could be argued that the relationship never even got off the ground. During his time in Peru, he continually expressed confusion and irritation about what he believed was deceptive behavior on Roca's part but has plowed ahead anyway. Berk, who took two trips to Colombia during the current season, proposed on the first trip but discovered that Morales' interest had all but vanished upon his return. His response to her breaking up with him had him running wildly through the streets and causing an extremely uncomfortable upheaval back at her house. In both cases, the men left for home with their relationships in tatters but unconvinced that they were really over.
