90 Day Fiancé star Kara Bass told her Instagram fans about the job that took her to the Dominican Republic where she met her husband to be Guillermo Rojer. Venezuela native Guillermo was only 21 years old when he bumped into Kara at a restaurant in the D.R. where was working. Kara, who was also there on a work trip, gave Guillermo her number and started chatting with him, when one thing led to another. Being in a serious relationship was unfamiliar territory for party girl Kara, and she may have not expected to move to the D.R. where she would spend eight months living with him, adopt a dog, and even end up engaged to Guillermo.
When Kara was introduced on 90 Day Fiancé, she said her job was to make balloon garlands. The 29-year-old called herself the “Jill of all trades,” but at that time she was "living, breathing, and dreaming" balloons. Prior to making balloon art, which was something she came up with during COVID-19, she was busy doing several jobs. Kara has been a chef, a barista, a dancer, and a singer and has been paid for all these jobs. She has also recorded audiobooks, done massage therapy, and “the list goes on and on.” When Kara was 20, she started traveling all over the world and has lived in four countries so far.
