In the first episode, Jibri's mom Mahala Bach expresses her own concerns over her son's partner coming to live with them. Having seen the makeup artist's Instagram presence, Mahala is concerned that Miona tends to wear revealing outfits, and tells her son she doesn't want Miona to wear that type of clothing in the house. However, many fans think his mom's concerns were scripted, and that she met Miona long before filming.
