The upcoming Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a celebration of Borderlands 2's acclaimed fantasy-themed DLC. The 2013 expansion, titled Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, introduced fans to the world of Bunkers & Badasses (BnB). This is a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired rendition of Borderlands's own in-game tabletop RPG.
Dragon Keep featured the usual Borderlands humor, but with several classic Borderlands characters making an appearance. Like Roland, the playable Vault hunter is now an NPC serving Queen Butt Stallion (who is antagonist Handsome Jack's pet pony in the Borderlands world).
We already know about the handful of returning faces among the cast of new characters like Brick, Claptrap and Mr. Torgue, but what about others? Here are five characters that fans would love to see make return in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
It's true that Borderlands 3's twin villains are some of the worst written NPCs in the entire franchise. They also pale in comparison to the previous antagonist, Handsome Jack.
So why should they make a comeback? Because Tiny Tina's Wonderlands seems like a great opportunity to experiment. Developer Gearbox Software can polish their shallow personalities and give them some depth that was missing from the predecessor.
Maybe they could even be good guys this time around, who knows?
