Sleepy Hollow Reboot In The Works From Paramount
A reboot of the classic horror film Sleepy Hollow is in the works at Paramount. The original story, based on Washington Irving’s 1820 novella entitled The Legend of Sleep Hollow, focuses on the titular town as it is haunted by visits from the so-called headless horseman. Numerous screen adaptations of the classic tale have been produced over the years, with Paramount’s first iteration debuting in 1999, directed by Gothic film veteran Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane.
