After serving a long tenure of 14 years, Sheryl Sandberg has announced her departure from the role of Chief Operating Officer or COO of Meta (previously Facebook). She was famously known as the second-in-command after Mark Zuckerberg and has contributed to the development of various parts of the company. She was majorly involved in not only developing the Facebook app but also other apps of Meta such as Instagram, Messenger and later even WhatsApp. She penned her emotional journey in a Facebook post narrating the tale of 14 years.
