Star Trek: Strange New Worlds actor Ethan Peck studied Leonard Nimoy's Spock performance in preparation for the show. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the latest series set in the Star Trek universe to be released on the Paramount+ streaming service. Created by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzmann and Jenny Lumet, the series will act as a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series and follow the U.S.S. Enterprise under the command of Captain Christopher Pike. As many may recall, in the pilot episode of The Original Series, the Enterprise was helmed by Captain Pike instead of Captain Kirk, and the news series may offer a glimpse into what might have been. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to begin streaming on Paramount+ on May 5.
