Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo Pitches to Be X-Men’s Storm in MCU

Speaking in a recent interview, Erivo revealed that Storm is her “dream role,” sparking conversations among fans. The MCU is slowly introducing mutants, making her statement timely as Marvel prepares for its next phase of films.

Cynthia Erivo recently shared her interest in portraying the Marvel character Storm in a future X-Men film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The National Board of Review asked her to share a dream role she would like to manifest, and Erivo responded, “I really want to play Storm.

I know it sounds frivolous, but I think we haven’t uncovered how grand she is and all of the inner turmoil that she has.” Marvel Studios has been gradually introducing mutant characters into the MCU.
