Following its early access launch in 2022, it didn’t take long for V Rising to become an instant sensation, and since then, it has continued to sell at an impressive pace.
In fact, in the aftermath of its long-awaited 1.0 release and PlayStation launch in 2024, Stunlock Studios’ acclaim survival game has hit yet another major sales milestone.
The indie studio has announced that V Rising has now sold over 5 million units worldwide. That’s up from 4 million units sold as of last April, so clearly, it has maintained steady momentum.
Doubtless, the game’s extensive post-launch support – which also included an elaborate Castlevania crossover expansion – will also have contributed to its enduring success.
And according to Stunlock Studios CEO Rickard Frisegård, there’s more still on the horizon. “Hitting 5 million sales isn’t just a number, it’s a testament to the passion and dedication of our team and our incredible community,” Frisegård said in a press release. “Our player’s enthusiasm drives us to push boundaries and deliver even more unforgettable experiences.
