The studio behind has announced the game's first post-launch patch, and it should arrive within the next week to address some of the biggest issues.

Although has already generated plenty of acclaim, it's also struggled to overcome a buggy release that's prone to crashes and errors that can block progression.

Sorting through every problem could take a while, but getting a start on the biggest issues could quickly turn the game into a better experience.

studio GSC Game World announced the planned patch on Steam, promising fixes for crashes, main quest progression problems, animations, and softlocks.

The patch will also make adjustments to gameplay, balance, and user interface. One major issue, the broken A-Life system, is planned to be addressed in future updates along with fixed dead zones for analogue sticks with drift. The problems that have plagued so far haven't stopped its momentum, and the game sold over 1 million copies in under 48 hours after its release.
