Matthew Bellon, who is the founding partner of Puck News, disclosed that the co-CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, decided to give Gerwig’s Narnia a theatrical release.
He stated, “Netflix tells me the film will hit about 1,000 IMAX screens worldwide on Thanksgiving Day 2026 and will not appear on Netflix until Christmas.” Although the report further stated that the movie will play on IMAX for just two weeks, this duration might increase based on popular demand.
