A new Super Bowl trailer for the live-action has been released. How to Train Your Dragon is an upcoming live-action remake of the 2010 DreamWorks Animation movie of the same name.
The new film stars Mason Thames as Hiccup, Gerard Butler as Stoick the Vast, and more. Check out the Super Bowl How to Train Your Dragon trailer below (watch more trailers and clips): “On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; The Black Phone, For All Mankind) stands apart.
The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his voice role from the animated franchise), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon.
Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.” The cast of the movie also includes Nico Parker as Astrid, Nick Frost as Gobber, Julian Dennison as Fishlegs, Gabriel Howell as Snotlout, Bronwyn James as Ruffnut, and Harry Trevaldwyn as Tuffnut.
The film is directed by Dean DeBlois, who co-directed the 2010 animated movie alongside Chris Sanders before then going on to helm 2014’s How to Train Your Dragon 2 and 2019’s How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World by himself.
