At the same time, the photography mechanic has always felt somewhat thin, the game's most recent patch fixes that. Unveiled on the official blog, the game's most recent update overhauls the GO Snapshot mode to allow for more creativity and customization.
For the first time since launch, up to three Pokémon can be featured in a single picture and players can either take photos of specific group sets or select which creatures they want to showcase, placing them anywhere they want.
The update also introduces a toy that will enable Trainers to grab the attention of their Pokémon to ensure they're posing correctly when the shutter closes.
