The trailer for Young Rock season 2 has dropped, revealing the new season's deeper dive into The Rock's wrestling origin story. The series, which follows The Rock in his youth at three different ages, was created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang and began airing on NBC in early 2021. In addition to appearing on and narrating the show, Dwayne Johnson is also an executive producer. The series premiered to strong ratings and became NBC's #1 comedy of the year, so the network renewed Young Rock season 2, which debuts its first episode on March 15, 2022.
Young Rock is set in the year 2032 as Johnson runs for President of the United States. He is being interviewed about his youth by Randall Park (Randall Park), who is now a journalist, cueing up flashbacks from various periods throughout The Rock's life. These periods include when he was 10 years old, as played by Adrian Groulx, 15 years old, as played by Bradley Constant, and age 18 through 20, as played by Marco Polo star Uli Latukefu.

Today, NBC just shared the official full trailer for Young Rock season 2. In addition to continuing the story of The Rock in his elementary school days, it looks like this season will really key into a college-aged Rock starting his wrestling training. Although the trailer shows off the show's signature blend of heartwarming drama, action, and biography, there is still plenty of room for goofy humor, including The Rock brandishing a fictional cookbook called Can You Cook What The Rock Is Cooking?, which has apparently won a «Stanley Tucci Award.» Check out the full trailer below:
