Microsoft has officially confirmed that anime third-person shooter Gungrave GORE is coming to Xbox Game Pass as a day one release on November 22. Gungrave GORE was promoted by Xbox at Gamescom 2022, so it was already assumed that the game would be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, but now fans have official confirmation that is indeed the case.
Gungrave GORE, for the uninitiated, is a sequel to the 2002 third-person shooter Gungrave. The original Gungrave game earned mixed reviews from critics, but still managed to develop a fanbase and start a franchise that includes an official anime adaptation, a video game sequel, and even a VR game. Gungrave GORE marks the first main series entry in the franchise since Gungrave Overdose launched in 2004, and those with an Xbox Game Pass subscription will be able to play it at no additional cost beyond their subscription fee.
