Microsoft has updated its selection of Xbox Game Pass games today by adding a new day one game as well as the full version of a title that was previously available to play through the Xbox Game Preview program. The Xbox Game Pass subscription service is updated multiple times per month, ensuring that subscribers regularly have new games to check out.
Tuesday, September 27 may be an especially exciting day when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass games for September 2022. Day one releases are always a big deal, as they give the Xbox Game Pass subscription service incredible value. Both of today's offerings could technically be considered «day one» releases, even though Grounded has technically been available in early access for quite some time.

The two new games added to Xbox Game Pass of September 27 are the aforementioned Grounded, a first-party Xbox game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, and Moonscars, a new 2D Soulslike. There are no reviews for Moonscars at the time of this writing, but Soulslike fans may want to check it out regardless.
There are some reviews available for Grounded, however, and the game has enjoyed a mostly positive reaction so far. It seems that many are impressed with the improvements that Obsidian has made to Grounded since the game's early access launch. Since its early access start, Grounded has been updated to include new gameplay features, areas, enemies, story elements, and more, so as of the latest update, it offers a complete gaming experience.
