WWE 2K22 is the ninth game as part of WWE's long-running partnership with 2K Games, with Visual Concepts serving as the lead developer on the title. The game saw the return of a general manager mode in MyGM, giving players the chance to see how well they can book Raw, SmackDown, NXT, or NXT UK. Other modes available include the revamped career mode MyRISE, the Showcase mode to relive moments in WWE history, and the new MyFACTION mode, giving players the chance to build and grow their own faction using card packs akin to NBA 2K's player packs.
