The Quarry has been released by Supermassive Games, the developers of Until Dawn, and it brings with it a new set of terrible deaths for its characters. The interactive, choice-based, setup of The Quarry means that the lives of the characters are in the hands of the players. Depending on the choices the player makes, this could either be a very good thing or a very bad thing. As the director, players are free to try and help all the protagonists survive their night of carnage, or be particularly malicious and push them into tragedy.

The Quarry is the latest survival-horror game from Supermassive Games. The camp counselors of Hackett's Quarry are having one final night at camp at the end of summer before their jobs as counselors officially come to an end for the season. What the counselors think will be a relaxing night with their friends before the start of a new school year turns into a nightmare that some of them never escape depending on the choices the player makes. Though it lacks online multiplayer at launch, The Quarry has a single-player story with plenty of endings to pass the time, and players are able to link up with up to eight friends via local play in the meantime.

The main monster threats of The Quarry are werewolves, a classic horror option. Like in Until Dawn, The Quarry's characters can die in multiple ways, some of which are worse than others. Additionally, characters can end up turning into werewolves themselves.
