While it has been well established throughout Marvel Comics lore that Wolverine has the ability to heal from any wound no matter how severe, his impressive power wouldn’t be enough to save him from one shocking MCU hero who would render his healing factor utterly powerless–and that hero is none other than Hank Pym aka Ant-Man.
Hank Pym made his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the film Ant-Man and has appeared in a few subsequent MCU films including Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame. Upon his debut, Hank Pym was introduced possessing one of the most impressive scientific minds in the MCU with his greatest creation being a substance known as Pym Particles which gives anyone who uses them the ability to shrink down to microscopic levels or grow as tall as a building. While the main focus of his scientific achievements in the MCU have pretty much been limited to his Pym Particles and the many different ways the substance can be used, Hank Pym's responsible for much more dangerous inventions in the comics.
