Wolverine's Claws Are No Match For Black Knight's Sword
In a chaotic fight between the X-Men and the Avengers, Black Knight's Ebony Blade took on Wolverine's adamantium claws, as Logan's coated bones ended up being no match for Dane Whitman's magical sword. In The X-Men vs. The Avengers #2 (1987) by Marvel Comics, Earth's Mightiest Heroes attempted to bring Magneto to justice following an international incident. However, Marvel's mutants fought back, leading to an epic matchup between Wolverine and Black Knight, where their mighty weapons were put to the test.
Both Wolverine and the Black Knight possess incredible strong blades that have become instrumental in their fights and battles against the most hardened enemies. Logan's bone claws are coated in uber-strong adamantium metal, as they can pierce most opponents. Meanwhile, Black Knight's Ebony Blade was forged by the ancient wizard Merlin, only to be wielded by those deemed unworthy and embracing their inner-most darkness. The Ebony Blade has been teased as having world-ending potential and capable of cutting through pretty much anything, making it a great counter to fight against Wolverine's powerful claws.
