Magical family-friendly MMORPG Wizard101 has made its way onto Steam in all European countries. This brings the long running MMO to a larger global audience, in new supported languages.
The Spiral, made up of many worlds, and Wizard City, are affected by a strange and powerful dark magic. This is where you begin, as a new student enrolled in the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts. Although you are still a student, your magical learning and the spells you learn and master are key to helping to fight against the evil threat.
You'll be able to learn new magic spells, progress your character development, investigate mysteries, including mysterious happenings around one of your professors, and try to keep up with the encroaching darkness and join with others to continue to hold it back. Fight using spell cards in turn-based card combat. Test out your strategies in a practice arena and continue working on improvement. Play solo, or team up with others for success. Even after years of updates, the Wizard101 community remains strong.
Now that the game has launched on Steam in Europe, you'll find localization support in UK English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, and Spanish. Kingsisle Entertainment has added content to Wizard101 since its launch back in 2008, so there’s a lot of content available to play through. In fact, there are over 16 worlds to explore, hundreds of quests, pets, cosmetics, crafting systems, and more to do, including fishing, gardening, and decorating your own home.
Wizard101 got its newest world, Wallaru, recently, and the team plans to continue adding to the Spiral in the years to come.
