Every month, there is an ebb and flow to Xbox Game Pass with some games coming in and some games coming out. The reaction on both ends varies each time. Sometimes the new Xbox Game Pass games for the month are exciting, while sometimes they may not click. For some of these games, it’s not so much of a departure as it is an update. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added EA Sports NHL 22 earlier this month (through its partnership with EA Play), meaning losing the old one is no big deal. The same is true of Farming Simulator, as the latest entry in the franchise hits on Thursday, May 19, ahead of Farming Simulator 19’s departure. So, these two games have been upgraded and swapped essentially.

Meanwhile, Knockout City is transitioning to a free-to-play model, beginning with season 6 on June 1. In other words, those who have enjoyed playing it on Game Pass don’t have any real concern. They’ll still be able to play it, for free.
